The main laser source in our laboratory is a femto/pico MIRA titanium sapphire laser tuneable from 680-1000nm which can produce CW, 2ps or 100fs pulses. In addition we have a commercial frequency doubler which can be used to produce 350-480nm picosecond or femtosecond pulses. We have a 8W Verdi pump for this system and which we also use to pump a dye laser or on its own as a source of 532nm light. We use the dye laser to extend the CW capabilities of the TiSa laser (550-680nm). In addition we have a home built and modifiable CW diode laser system which for a small cost can produce a wide range of selected wavelengths.
